THIS TRAVELLING LIFE

With her passion for language learning and exploring different cultures, Sue has always loved to travel, particularly in France, Spain and Italy.

During a year of recovery from a difficult period she travelled to a retreat in Kerala, India and walked part of the Camino de Santiago in Spain.  Both were transformative experiences. The spring flowers along the Camino track inspired Sue to realise a lifelong dream of becoming a children’s author by writing My Colour Collection, a series of rhyming picture books.

While in India she began writing her thoughts and poems in a journal, which later became her very personal memoir, Changing Lightbulbs and the companion book of poetry, Transformation. In the future, when the world opens up again, Sue hopes that many more adventures lie ahead. She plans to walk the section of the Way of St. James between Le Puy and Conques in France, the Via Francigena in Italy, and closer to home, the Overland Track in Tasmania and the Milford Track in New Zealand.
